GENERAL EXPERIENCE HIGHLIGHTS

As a sole practitioner, Joseph has over 35 years of experience in accounting, audit, taxation, insurance, financial services, real estate and information management. Joseph is in charge of the quality control for the financial statements of all LCA assurance engagements.

PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION AND FIRM HISTORY

Joseph received a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from Concordia University in 1977. He received his Graduate Diploma in Accountancy from Concordia University in 1981 and became a chartered accountant in 1984. In 1977, he joined BDO Dunwoody working in the assurance division until 2002. He was a senior manager in the assurance division and specialized in small and medium sized businesses across various industries.

From 2002 onward, Joseph became a sole practioner and maintains a successful practice with clients across various industries such as real estate, construction, wholesale and retail sales and investment holdings.

Joseph accepted the role of quality control at LCA’s predecessor firm, Litwin Correa, in 2013 and since then, he has been instrumental in the standardization of LCA’s financial statements in accordance with our professional standards and guidelines.
