GENERAL EXPERIENCE HIGHLIGHTS
As part of the leadership group, Gavin is responsible for coordinating the management of assurance services for all engagements of the firm as well as accounting and tax services for mandates under his direction.
Gavin is most active with LCA’s clients who have rapidly growing businesses. His experience in strategic planning, corporate structuring, accounting, income tax planning and operations management adds a strong dimension to the services available to LCA’s entrepreneurial clients. Gavin also has significant experience with start-up businesses, acquisitions and the financing of new businesses and acquisitions.
PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION AND FIRM HISTORY
Gavin received his Bachelor of Commerce from Concordia University in 1988. He received his Graduate Diploma in Accountancy from McGill University in 1990 and became a chartered accountant in 1992. He earned the CFP™ designation in 1992. Gavin joined LCA’s predecessor company in 1987, became a partner in 2002 and then formed his own firm, LCA CPA, in 2015.

Ralph Engel - CPA auditor

GENERAL EXPERIENCE HIGHLIGHTS
Ralph has extensive experience working with professional firms, small to medium sized businesses, holding companies, estates and trusts as well as personal and corporate taxes.
He spent ten years as the V.P. finance of a manufacturer and importer which gave him invaluable experience and insight.
PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION AND FIRM HISTORY
Ralph graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Liscentiate in Accounting. He became a member of the Ordre des Comptables Agrees of Quebec in 1973 and a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario in 2012.
He started his own firm in 1975.

As a partner, Elyse provides assurance, accounting, and business advisory services to clients in a wide range of industries. With a passion for delivering exceptional client outcomes, Elyse has built a reputation as a dedicated accounting practitioner. With her hands-on approach, she brings extensive expertise in financial reporting and taxation, ensuring personalized solutions for each.
PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION AND FIRM HISTORY
Elyse obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in accounting at HEC Montréal in April 2014 and her graduate diploma in accountancy in August 2015. She has successfully passed the 2015 CFE and obtained her CPA auditor designation on January 24, 2017.
She has been honored many times for her academic and outreach achievements. In 2014, she received the Médaille du Lieutenant-Gouverneur and the Mazarin scholarship for her community involvement combined with her outstanding academic performance.
Elyse joined LCA’s predecessor firm, Litwin Correa, as a summer student in 2013.

Joseph Mueller - CPA auditor

GENERAL EXPERIENCE HIGHLIGHTS
As a sole practitioner, Joseph has over 35 years of experience in accounting, audit, taxation, insurance, financial services, real estate, and information management. Joseph is in charge of the quality control for the financial statements of all LCA assurance engagements.
PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION AND FIRM HISTORY
Joseph received a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from Concordia University in 1977. He received his Graduate Diploma in Accountancy from Concordia University in 1981 and became a chartered accountant in 1984. In 1977, he joined BDO Dunwoody working in the assurance division until 2002. He was a senior manager in the assurance division and specialized in small and medium sized businesses across various industries.
From 2002 onward, Joseph became a sole practitioner and maintains a successful practice with clients across various industries such as real estate, construction, wholesale and retail sales, and investment holdings.
Joseph accepted the role of quality control at LCA’s predecessor firm, Litwin Correa, in 2013 and since then, he has been instrumental in the standardization of LCA’s financial statements in accordance with our professional standards and guidelines.

Edouard Sabbah - CPA auditor

GENERAL EXPERIENCE HIGHLIGHTS
Edouard is a manager in the assurance and business advisory services departments of LCA. He has over 13 years of experience advising clients in a wide range of enterprises on all financial aspects pertaining to daily business operations and strategic planning. Edouard has developed an expertise in providing value-added services to his clients, such as family business consulting, succession planning, and corporate and personal tax planning. Edouard brings a wealth of knowledge to his role as an experienced advisor to a wide variety of small to mid-sized entrepreneurial clients in various industries including manufacturing, importing and distribution, as well as other professionals. Edouard has also quarterbacked the incorporation process for many professionals.
In addition to his assurance and advisory practice, Edouard has been involved for many years with community and not-for-profit organizations. He has sat on several committees and board of directors as treasurer.
PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION AND FIRM HISTORY
Edouard received a Bachelor of Commerce from the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University in 2002, and earned his CA designation in 2006.
Edouard spent the first 8 years of his career in assurance in well-known and well-respected local and Big Four accounting firms. In 2011, Edouard joined LCA’s predecessor firm, Litwin Correa, as a manager and is now in charge of assurance engagements and has been instrumental in the strategic planning and standardization of the firm.
